Bath Time 21/01/17

Sunday Routine.

I always like to have a shower mid afternoon on a Sunday. Obviously I go back to school on a Monday after the weekend so I take great care in looking after myself before that.

I wash my hair, exfoliate and all that fun stuff. I just relax, letting my hair air dry and have dinner. After this, at about 6:30pm I pin my hair up and run a bath. I normally stay in said bath for 1-2 hours and then have a really chilled evening.

This week while I was in the bath I watched Call the Midwife and it was so good. It’s one of my favourites. I look forward to it returning to my tv screen each year 😀

Shower Products:

La Roche Posay Effaclar Purrifying Cleansing Gel £11 (I do find this one leaves the skin a little dry but it’s so good for spots and acne.)

I initially bought this cleansing gel as part of a set which I found works best but again leaves the skin very dry, especially if you, like me, have spotty/acne prone skin that is dry not oily.

Benefit Refined Finish Facial Polish (exfoliator) £18.50

Molton Brown Plum Kadu Glossing Shampoo £18

Molton Brown Plum Kadu Glossing Conditioner £18

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel (Only available around Christmas)

Lush The Rough with the Smooth Body Scrub £5.95 (This one smells SO GOOD!)

Bath Products:

Lush Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar (Again, Christmas Product)

Zoella Sweet Inspirations Bath Latte £6.

Zoella Sweet Inspirations Sugar Dip Scented Bath Salt Granules £6

Lush Northern Lights Bath Bomb (Christmas)

Having a bath and relaxing before I start a new week is one of my absolute favourite things to do. If there is one thing that you take from this post it is to make sure during a busy week you always, always, always make time for you. Even if it feels like you are totally run off your feet and if you stop and take a break the whole world is going to collapse on top of you and that you are just too busy. You’re not. You are just as important as your work, school, housework, and all the other commitments that you’re bound to have. LOOK AFTER YOU. YOU ARE WORTH IT.

~ Stop trying to do everything for everybody else. Do it for you. Put you first.

Love, Carly X
